The composition

An amber that opens like tea and settles like wood.

Twenty percent perfume oil. Eight to ten hours on skin. Built around agarwood from the Sylhet hills, the same hills that have traded oud through Bengal's ports for centuries.

Top

Sylhet black tea, bergamot, pink pepper

The first ten minutes. Bright, tannic, a little peppery.

Heart

Beli jasmine, saffron, smoked papyrus

The jasmine sold in strings at every Dhaka crossing at dusk.

Base

Sylhet agarwood, sandalwood, amber, tonka

Warm and dry. What stays on the collar the next morning.

The House

An inheritanceof scent.

Agarwood from the Sylhet hills left through Bengal's ports centuries before oud became a word on a Paris counter. Dhaka muslin was called woven air. Jasmine is sold in strings at every traffic light at dusk. Evorè begins there.
